Step 1: Resting henbuns (aka eggbuns) are easily startled. Approach slowly.

Step 2: Pet rabbit gently on nose and forehead. Subject may assume the petting pose. This is good.

For future reference, can all eggbuns be converted to bunpillows, or do you need an extra-special-bun like Indy for it to work?

You ask excellent questions little_m. With patience most eggbuns can be converted to bunpillows. But every bun is unique, and there will always be exceptions to the rule. You who serve the magnificent Miao Brothers know: the key to a prosperous relationship with the floofy ones is utter, adoring submission. Dote on your eggbun without reserve and all things are possible, even bunpillows.

When our beloved Blossom was with us, we called this "speaking in deep rabbit". Only peeps with buns can truly understand what this means - whiffling and snuffling (from peeps and buns) - how I miss it all.

Wow Kris, you are absolutely correct about "speaking in deep rabbit." This is advanced work however--not a subject for our beginner's guide to bunpillows--perhaps we will cover it in a later post.
