Hear that? No, it's not the sound of snow falling gently across your PC desktop or the soft patter of furred bunfeet hopping at Christmas bells. It's the sound of global productivity levels dropping to disastrous levels everywhere as peeps ease their post-holiday pain with this online gem. Way to smooth our transition back into the work force, Webcruiser!
A review snippet from Casual Gameplay:
Every flash title on Orisinal oozes with beautiful artwork and gorgeous music. They're like playable pieces of art that are astonishing to the eyes and ears and just happen to be fun to play as well. Winterbells is a very simple wintertime game with the same elegant presentation of all Ferry's work. In Winterbells you control a snow-white rabbit who hops onto falling bells as they drift down from the night sky. Use the mouse to move the bunny left and right and time your jumps to keep moving upwards. The longer you stay hopping the higher your score, and pouncing on a bird gives you a nice bonus. It's a wonderfully atmospheric coffee break game that's perfect for this time of year.
UPDATE #1: OK, my high score today is 5610, but I know I can do better. Too many interruptions at work. I need to be able to concentrate, dagnabbit.
UPDATE #2: Ah, forget me. Some kids are scoring in the billions. Doesn't anyone in this country work any more? Pft.
This is not me. This is my Japanese doppelganger Yuebing, miniature successor to the famed pancake rabbit Oolong.
I wish I were Yuebing. While I languish in confinement all day, Yuebing gets to run around outside and hop in the snow.
Of course, Yuebing is also a bit of a sap--she plays outside, then comes right back inside like a good rabbit. Sucker.
If I ever manage to get out of the Bunny Lounge, I will instantly escape into a nearby field and become a free, wild bun.
